The recently released series of Watchmen movie figures was very nicely done and has me wondering about the potential for future movie-based action figure releases; such things as the whole slew of upcoming Marvel movie releases could be quite the bonanza for collectors. Such films as Iron Man II, Thor, Ant Man, Captain America and the Avengers could all offer up some nicely sculpted figures even though the recent Iron Man  movie seriers of figures were nothing too amazing for collectors.

I may not be very displeased about this. The fact is that World War II is so generic you can use it anywhere. OK, but what does this really mean.
